The boys, and the boys’ ears

At almost 6 months, the boys from See See’s litter: Frasier, Niles, and Martin (different names now) have all adjusted well into their new homes. I could not be more pleased with the love and care they are getting. The only bad thing is ears. (Roz’s are still in and out of tape too) I’mContinue reading “The boys, and the boys’ ears”

Daphne continued her wins on Saturday and Sunday! And a small victory for See See.

Daphne did great on Saturday, taking Best of Breed and getting third in the Puppy Herding Group! On Sunday, she got Best of Breed and first in the Puppy Herding Group! My friend Kevin Brown took some great pictures that shows her in the ring looking her best. Keep in mind this was a puppyContinue reading “Daphne continued her wins on Saturday and Sunday! Daphne is a Star!

Daphne did better than her mom! See See is still getting back in shape from having puppies, so she did not win today or yesterday. But Daphne got 2nd place in 4-6 month Puppy Herding Group yesterday and 1st place today! We still have two more chances this weekend. Thank you Vera, for taking thisContinue reading “Daphne is a Star!”

Niles found a home!

He visited earlier this week and decided he really liked Niles, but had to prepare his home, buy a crate, get food, etc. I am so happy he found such a good home.Continue reading “Niles found a home!”

Successful GSD ear tapings!

In yesterday’s post, I wrote that I finally taped the three puppies’ ears. That actually happened on Thursday. Today is Sunday. The puppies were shaking their heads a lot like there was some irritation, so I took the tape off today. (It has been very humid/rainy, so it is not surprising that fungal infection mightContinue reading “Successful GSD ear tapings!”

Taping GSD puppy ears at 4 months

I have to admit I had my hopes up that I would not have to tape ears on this litter of puppies. I had to tape their mom’s (See See’s) ears, so I bred to a sire (Luc) with really good ears. All of the puppies have had both ears up. Usually, when GSD earsContinue reading “Taping GSD puppy ears at 4 months”

Taping GSD puppy ears and 4 month reunion

The whole litter got back together for a play date! That’s Niles with my hand on his nose. He is still available. After being the smallest male at birth, he is now the largest. He weighs 54 lbs on his 4m birthday. At 4 months, GSD puppy ears need to be carefully evaluated. Frasier/Günther’s earsContinue reading “Taping GSD puppy ears and 4 month reunion”
