My neighbors helped me with socializing the puppies today. We carried all of them out to the road, and that way they could see a tractor grading the gravel road, a lawn mower, and cars on the main road, all while being held and petted by friendly strangers. They got to visit the neighbor’s house too.
It’s great for them to be exposed to different smells and different people who are kind to them. They got to hear loud noises and see cars and watch the sun go down. All good stuff for puppies to realize what the world is made of.
I have great neighbors! But who doesn’t love petting puppies?
The puppies get their vaccinations and third worming this week. They’ll see the vet when they are 7 weeks old for a health checkup.
