I like to brag about my dogs, but you don’t have to take my word for it! Here are some emails and correspondence I have gotten from previous puppy buyers.
Alan and I got Ranger 5 years ago. I cannot express how much he means to us or how great he is. To start, he is the first shepherd we have gotten from Sarah. We had one before and her name was Dixie. She was very sweet with us but not so much with others. We loved her to pieces but she was very high strung. After she passed we knew we wanted another shepherd but realized breeding makes a big difference in temperament and behavior. Our search led us to Sarah. We could see his lineage and meet his family. The cute puppy that fell asleep on my husband’s boot has turned out to be such a blessing.
Ranger is great with other dogs, our chickens and most importantly with our grandkids. He loves playing catch with them, taking walks with them and a leash is not required on our property. My granddaughter was concerned at first because Dixie was just too much for her but Ranger changed her mind very quickly. She loves to flick his ear, and he falls asleep every time she does this. When the kids spend the night with us, Ranger sleeps with them instead of our room. He is so loving and protective of them, there is never any concern.
Ranger is protective of all of his people. One of them is a little boy who is autistic. He knew when he met him that the child was special. He would go and just lay down beside him being very calm. This little boy started to interact with him and we showed him how to throw a stick for Ranger. This little boy who did not speak, started to laugh at Ranger and as he got more comfortable with him. They have become great friends and this child’s first real word was DOG.
On a daily basis Ranger gets in my lap for cuddles, then he likes me to get his eye boogies out with a wipe and then he plays with our small dog Rocco. They love each other and it shows. He is the most loving dog and I know so much of this is because of his breeding.
When it comes time for us to get another shepherd, I would only go to Sarah. We were allowed to meet his family and we could see for ourselves where he came from and the temperament of his relatives. I couldn’t be happier with Ranger. Thank you Sarah.

Hi Sarah – it’s been a few years so I thought I would send you a quick update about Cooper (Quarter was his name when he was born).
Updating you came to mind as he was in for his annual vet visit last week. The vet checked his hips and was so impressed at his almost 100% range of motion as a 5 year old dog in general. But even more-so for a German Shepherd. He commented on how well bred and built he is, and he said it’s rare but refreshing to see a GSD with a hind end like Cooper’s. That combined with his amazing personality, and I think we’ve pretty much got the perfect dog 🙂
It took me a few minutes to find your website and when I did, I couldn’t believe how much Cooper looks like Johnny. I’m not sure I could tell the difference If you showed me a picture of both of their faces!
I’m glad to see you’re still breeding. I’d love to have another dog from your lines (or Trademark’s) someday. Here’s a photo of Coop with one of my kids. He was 1 when we brought Cooper home, and they’re the very best of friends.
Take care!
Nicole

The following testimonial is not from anyone who owns one of my dogs. I met this lady when searching for a lost German Shepherd that belonged to a friend. She has a master’s degree and owns a business where she works with children, and has had many German Shepherds that she has rehabilitated through her contacts with law enforcement. We were talking about the difference between the American versus European bloodlines, and I invited her to come visit my American Showline dogs and puppies. She said she was impressed with my dogs, so I asked her to write up something that reflected her visit, and this is what she sent:
A Lifetime of European Working Line German Shepherds Couldn’t Prepare Me for This.
As someone who has owned, rehabilitated, trained, and worked alongside European working-line German Shepherds for decades—including critical work in trauma therapy—my view of American show-line Shepherds was admittedly shaped by years of limited exposure and veterinary health cases. I associated the line with poor temperament, exaggerated slopes, joint issues, and structural vulnerabilities. Ironically, despite having straight-backed working lines, I have still battled my fair share of spinal, hip, skin issues and temperament problems including resource guarding and aggression.
When Sarah Morgan graciously invited me to Shepherd Sight to meet her dogs, I went in curious, but completely open to being surprised. What I witnessed blew my expectations away.
Shepherd Sight German Shepherds possess an extraordinary, balanced demeanor. They are strikingly intelligent, beautiful, and naturally protective, yet they hold a flawless “off-switch”. That is foreign to me! When play was over, they didn’t pace or display obsessive drive—they simply settled down, relaxed, and offered calm affection without becoming overstimulated. From the seniors down to the puppies, every single dog possessed that same steady, confident composure and healthy, balanced structure without an exaggerated sloped back that is so often perceived as such a problem in American showline German Shepherds.
What impressed me most were the puppies. Anyone who knows European Shepherd puppies knows the dreaded “land shark” phase—the squirming, mouthy, overstimulated resistance to close handling. Sarah’s nine-week-old puppies were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Their bite inhibition was naturally soft; even while mouthing, they never hurt or punctured the skin. When I held them, there was no flailing or struggling against spatial pressure. They simply melted into my arms like little rag dolls.
To see a German Shepherd line retain all the majesty, loyalty, and intelligence of the breed while possessing such exceptional genetic calm and soft-mouthed stability is nothing short of remarkable. Sarah’s dedication to deliberate, purposeful breeding shines through in every single dog on her property.
