Ray Ray Goes Home!

Ray Ray has found a new home with Diane. She lives in Richmond, so hopefully I will get to see him from time to time.

I know that Diane will love Ray Ray, but it was really hard to say goodbye to him. He was a great looking boy, and I had envisioned showing him. He has a fantastic temperament and is the epitome of what a good male German Shepherd should look like. The AKC show ring needs more German Shepherds like him.

However, I decided that spending more time with Johnny and Jane was more important to me, so I’m also going to let Mimi go too, even though she is a beautiful representative of the feminine side of the breed.

I recently had a Home Veterinary Service come by to visit Johnny and Jane and got them a new prescription that should help their quality of life.

Me with Jane and Johnny

I confess that when I planned this litter, I did not think that Johnny and Jane would still be with me. I will definitely wait until after they are gone before I breed again. I’ve just been stretched too thin.

Follow this blog to find out when I’m going to be breeding again. Probably sometime in 2027.
