The puppies all had a clean bill of health today at the vet! Four boys and eight testicles: that’s always a good thing. No heart murmurs and all good bites (meaning no undershot or overshot jaws). One female puppy, Lala, had a very tiny umbilical hernia. Very common and won’t be a problem. Another female puppy, Dearie, had a slight wound from another puppies playful bite yesterday. Because it is near her eye, she was prescribed a short course of antibiotics. But she will be fine. All puppies received Health certificates.
Tuesday, Kevin Brown and Jay Hill came over to try to get good pictures of the puppies “stacked” to evaluate for show prospects. It was really hot, so the puppies may not have been the most cooperative. Kevin took the photos while Jay and I tried to get good stacks.
