Now we wait and see

Daphne came home today from her visit with Limu. If she is pregnant, I will probably know in about 6 weeks.

[If you are interested in being on a waiting list for a puppy, please call or text 304-610-7172 to discuss. Or use the contact page on the link in the menu which will reach me via email.]

Here are pictures of the lovely sire, Limu, and Daphne. I’ve also rearranged the household so you’ll see pictures of my other dogs too on this post.

Limu with the soft brown eyes.
Limu. Such a calm boy.

It was really hard to get pictures of Daphne because she would not leave my side once she came home! She loves her mommy.

That is Winston between Daphne’s ears
Because Roz is also in heat now, I have to crate Daphne sometimes.

The last time Daphne was in heat, she and Roz were about 2 months apart in their cycles. Now they are overlapping. Roz has to alternate with Daphne being in the crate because they can no longer get along with each other. The split happened on Daphne’s last heat cycle.

It’s hard to get pictures of Roz too for the same reason! She is also clingy because she is in heat.
Roz finally relaxed with Winston on the cardboard that now protects my rugs.

Their mother SeeSee is soon to follow with her cycle. If they’re all 3 in heat at the same time Clyde will lose his mind. He is downstairs and Roz and Daphne are upstairs in order to minimize his frustration. (Winston is neutered so he doesn’t care.) Right now, SeeSee is keeping Clyde company downstairs until she comes in heat too.

Johnny and Jane stay downstairs all the time. It’s not fair to make them go up and down steps.
