The whole litter got back together for a play date!
That’s Niles with my hand on his nose. He is still available. After being the smallest male at birth, he is now the largest. He weighs 54 lbs on his 4m birthday.
At 4 months, GSD puppy ears need to be carefully evaluated. Frasier/Günther’s ears had been up and down, and because Aimee lives near DC, we decided to save her a trip and do it now. Best case scenario, the tape can stay on for 2 weeks, and Aimee can see great ears after that. She was instructed to check the ears daily to make sure air is getting inside the ear and for any signs of infection. The tape has to stay dry, so she has to be dedicated to using an umbrella if necessary to take him out. He didn’t seem to mind the taping. Afterwards, he shook his head a couple of times and said, “Whatever! No problem.”
If you don’t already know, I can’t possibly tell you in a paragraph or two. I’m just going to tell you one thing that is not widely known.
When German Shepherds have an adult coat as these puppies do now, and they get muddy, when it dries the mud just falls off. I swept the floor in this room yesterday and mopped it. All the dust and dirt you see on the floor has come off of the puppies this morning. As they play, the dirt just drops off of them, and I can sweep it up. Even when they get dirty, they don’t stay dirty!
These puppies are extremely well socialized, health checked, are current on vaccines, and wormed. AKC Champion and performance bloodlines. Parents are OFA certified hips and elbows, and DM CLEAR.

We went visiting where one of my puppy buyers lives, so 4 of the 5 puppies in the litter got to play together again.

See See has recovered nicely from the snakebite, and she is happy to play with her puppies again.
The puppies are now crate trained and well socialized. The male is laid back and very outgoing with people and likes playing with other dogs. He has been to stores and puppy classes, and he is leash trained. He will likely be a very large adult.

She will be ok. I took her to the emergency vet last night. Her blood work looks ok, so the venom hasn’t affected her systemically. The vet said the swelling and discoloration will get worse before it gets better.
The vet thinks she will make a full recovery.
Keep a close eye out for copperheads! They are out early this year due to heavy rains and heat! We didn’t find the one that bit See See.
Pics taken today, 4/14/2024. 13 weeks old. Healthy, vaccinated, wormed, vet checked. DM clear and OFA (hips and elbows) parents. Very well socialized, happy puppies. Show quality, but I will let go as pets on spay/neuter contract. Ears have all been up. $2500 to approved homes only.
Great temperaments. Daphne adores children and everyone. Niles is going to be big and is spending all his energy growing. He loves people and gets along great with other dogs and does not seem to be an alpha type male. They have been to Home Depot and puppy classes and love to be petted by everyone. Leash trained. Crate trained. Early socialization and training done for you!

For those of you out there looking for an “old style” or “traditional” German Shepherd, this is it! Clyde is See See’s full brother. See See (Tennessee Walker Out of Sight) is the mother of Shepherd Sight’s most recent litter.
Many people looking for a traditional looking GSD associate that with European bloodlines and overlook American Show Line GSDs because they think they are too extreme, over angulated, bad tempered, spindly, or small, but Clyde is a good example of a large, masculine, heavy boned, good tempered, mildly angulated traditional looking GSD that managed to get past those more extreme dogs and achieve his Grand Championship title. You either love that or hate that! I love it!
As you can see from the previous posts, I was worried about the ears on this litter. But I needn’t have worried! Daphne’s ears look great! They are the last to come up of the ones I have here. Martin’s are slowly coming up. And Frazier’s are up and down, with one up more than the other. Check out the pics! Niles and Daphne are still available to approved homes! These puppies have had great socialization. They’ve been to puppy handling classes at the Zoom Room https://zoomroom.com/location/richmond/ taught by The Virginia Kennel Club https://m.facebook.com/Virginiakennelclub Home Depot, and had lots of visits with other dogs, large and small, adults and children of all types and walks of life. They are crate trained and 80% housebroken (great progress for this age). Daphne (red collar) loves everyone. She would make an excellent pet for a family with children. She absolutely adores kissing children’s faces. Niles ( green collar) is going to be a very handsome, masculine male. He is growing so fast that he is slower running than his smaller and more agile sisters. He is not an overly aggressive Alpha type male. He will be easily trainable and could fit in with most families. Both of them would also make great show dogs. They have excellent conformation and movement. I hate to part with them, but I only have room for one female. I’m keeping Roz (brown collar) because she seems to be the most bonded to me.
