Ch. Sir Winston Churchill BCAT, BN, CD turned 7 years old today. That is considered a senior in German Shepherds. He is doing great and not showing any signs of slowing down. I took a few pics of him in the sun today.

Winston was my husband’s pick of the litter from Jane’s first litter. Chuck only got to see Winston in a few shows. Winston was just 16m old when Chuck died suddenly. Winston has been a great dog, helping me raise puppies, and he is always sweet to babies. He has been exceptionally easy to train, and he finished his AKC Obedience BN and CD titles with qualifying (must be over 170 out of possible 200 points) scores straight through. Here are his scores, and you can see he placed 1st each time.
Chuck sure knew how to pick a good dog.
